    ROSSVILLE — Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rossville Cemetery for Kenneth Dean “Tuffy” Marney, 68, Lubbock, Texas. He died Nov. 23, 1999, at his home.
    Mr. Marney served 26 years in the Air Force. He retired in the Lubbock area.
    He was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Rossville, the son of Ben and Edna Alexander Marney.
    Mr. Marney was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    He married Glenda Staff on March 19, 1960, at Newmarket, England, and they were foster parents to several children in the Lub¬bock area. She survives.
    Other survivors include three sons, Dean Marney, Clovis, N.M., and Mike Marney and Shannan Marney, both of Lubbock; two daughters, Theresa Wingert, Lubbock, and Sandy Meier, Topeka; a sister, Louise Marney Sebring, Prescott Valley, Ariz.; and 12 grand¬children.

    Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Dec. 4 at Rossville Cemetery in Rossville, Kan. Earlier services in Lubbock will be private.
    Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock is in charge of arrangements.

    He was born September 18, 1931, in Rossville, the son of Ben and Edna Alexander Marney. He moved to Lubbock after he retired.
    Mr. Marney served 26 years in the Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW.
    He married Glenda Staff March 19, 1960, in Newmarket, England. She survives. The couple were fos¬ter parents to several children in the Lubbock, TX area.
    Other survivors include three sons, Dean Marney, Clovis, NM, Mike Marney and Shannan Mar¬ney, both of Lubbock, TX; two daughters, Sandy Meier, Topeka, and Theresa Wingert, Lubbock, TX; 12 grandchildren; and a sis¬ter, Louise Marney Sebring, Prescott Valley, AZ.
    A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Decem-ber 4, in the Rossville Cemetery.
    An earlier service in Lubbock was private.
