| Bridal Shower- Skidmore, Bertha An interesting social event of the week at Willard was the delightful party given in honor of Mrs. Ralph Martin, who before her recent marriage was Miss Bertha Skidmore. She was complimented with a miscellaneous shower last Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Gladis Skidmore. The hostess was assisted by Miss Edna Martin. The afternoon was spent in playing games after which refreshments of cake, jello and coffee were served. The bride, who is attractive with a pleasing personality, received many useful gifts. Miss Bertha Skidmore, of Willard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Skidmore, Sr., and Mr. Ralph Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Martin of this community, were quietly married Monday afternoon in the chapel at the Immaculate Conception church at St. Marys, by the Rev. Father O'Connor.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin will be at home on the Frances DeGraff farm just south of Rossville.
