    Marie A. Martin
    EMMETT — Marie A. Martin, 88, Emmett, died Tuesday, April 19, 1994, at an Onaga hospital.
    She was born Sept. 13, 1905, in Junction City, the daughter of Hjalmer O. Otnes and Anne Baldwin Otnes. She moved to the Emmett arŽea from Ogdon in 1941 and into the city of Emmett in 1972.
    Mrs. Martin was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Emmett and the Altar Society of the church, Jolly Workers and the Happy HomemakŽers, both in Emmett.
    She was married to William A. MarŽtin on May 11, 1933, in Junction City. He died July 22, 1983.
    Survivors include two sons, Charles Martin, Ozawkie, and John Martin, Emmett; a daughter, Marcia Ross, Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church in EmŽmett. Burial will be at St. Patricks Cemetery in Ogden. Mrs. Martin will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Chapel in St. Marys where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church in Emmett.
