KINGMAN- Richard C. Mason, 83, died Aug. 19, 2009 at Wheat lands Healthcare Center, Kingman.
He was born July 30, 1926 at Rossville, Kansas, the son of Clayton and Frances Pobrislo Mason. A resident of the Kingman community since 1951, he was retired as President of the State Bank of Kingman after 38 years of service.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church; and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
On March 1, 1953, he married Barbara Kelly in Cowley County, Kansas. Other survivors include 3 sons, Tom, Ron and Kelly; daughter, Elise; brother, Jerry; sister, Elise Bott; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the Livingston Funeral Flome, Kingman with Pastor Mike McGovney presiding. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman.
