| Obituary- Matsatto, George George Matsatto
DELIA — George Matsatto, 75, Route 3, Delia, died Thursday at the Topeka Veterans’ Administration Hospital where he had been a patient for two months.
He was born Jan. 1, 1896 at Delia. He was a farmer and had lived in the Delia community most of his life.
Mr. Matsatto was a veteran of World War I, and a member of the Indian Drum Service.
His wife, Josephine, died in 1940.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Shobney, 1111 N. Madison, Topeka; a son, Frank Matsatto, 211 Topeka; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Indian Drum Services will be at the Mayetta Community Hall Saturday evening. Burial will be in family burial ground at the Matsatto home. Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, is in charge of arrangements.
