Frank A, Matyak, 71, Topeka, died Thursday, July 2, 1992, at home.
Mr. Matyak was a purchasing agent 27 years at Topeka State Hospital before he retired. He previously had worked for Manor Bakers and had been a partner in Koci-Matyak Garage from 1046 to 1949. He was an the Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
He was born Sept. 25, 1920, at Carter, S.D., the son of Paul and Marie Dolezilek. Matyak. He attended South Dakota elementary schools.
He was married to Dorothy Landis May 8, 1949, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Shirley Jenssen, Topeka; a sister, Lydia Anderson, Topeka; two brothers. Paul Matyak, Delia, and Joe Matyak, Rossville: and a grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery. Family and friends will meet from 7 until 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 1272 S.W Fillmore. 66604.
