    Cathy Noreen Charity Kent
    Cathy Noreen Charity Kent, 46, Topeka, died Friday, May 3, 1996, at her home. She had cancer.

    Mrs. Kent had worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Kansas the past 21 years.

    She was born Jan. 1, 1950, at Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Harold W. Sr. and Bea Lewis DeHart. She had lived in Topeka since January 1951 and was graduated from Hayden High School in 1967.

    She married Robert E. Kent. He survives.

    Other survivors include two sons, Jamie Charity, Topeka, and Ron Charity, Manhattan; her mother, Bea DeHart, Topeka; a brother, Harold DeHart Jr., Topeka; and a granddaughter.

    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Cremation will follow the services. Burial of cremains in Rossville cemetery will be private. Mrs. Kent will lie in state after 8 a.m. Monday at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 S.W. Frazier Circle, Topeka, 66606, or to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 2625 N.W. Rochester Road, Topeka, 66617.
