    Mrs. Mary Mayer
    ROSSVILLE — Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Rossville United Methodist Church here for Mrs. Mary Mayer, 51, Rossville, who died Friday at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She had cancer.

    She was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Wetmore, and lived in Rossville 23 years.

    She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 31, Rossville, and was active in gardening crafts.

    She married Arlie Mayer on Oct. 11, 1946, in Topeka. He survives.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Sharon Mayer, Lawrence; two sons, Jeffrey Mayer, and Stanley Mayer, both of Rossville; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Roush, Wetmore; two sisters, Mrs. Maxine Crawford, 1710 Broadview Drive, Topeka, and Mrs. Wanda Allen, Mitchell, Neb.; three brothers, Donald Roush, Corsicana, Texas, Marvin Roush, 2125 Ohio, Topeka, and Loren Roush, Lawrence; and one grandchild.

    Cremation will follow services. Mrs. Mayer will lie in state until 9 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. The casket will remain closed at the church.
