ROSSVILLE. - Ross I. McCollough, 91, Rossville, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 1988, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. McCollough worked 40 years in the Union Pacific Railroad Mechanical Department. He retired in 1962.
He was born June 1, 1897, on the Mulvane Farm near Rossville and grew up on the farm.
Mr. McCollough was a member of Rossville Presbyterian Church and Hesperian Lodge No. 111, AF&AM, both at Rossville. He also was a charter member and past president of Unit No. 140 of National Association of Retired Veteran Railway Employees and a member of Golden Agers of Rossville and American Association of Retired Persons.
His wife, Rosella Miles McCollough, survives.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jacque Stuck, Santa Fe, N.M.; three sisters, Margaret McCoid, Silver Lake, Mildred Sneller, Topeka, and Winifred Anderson, Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four great-greatgrandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. followed by Masonic services conducted by Hesperian Lodge No. 111, AF&AM, Sunday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 177, 66533.

Ross McCollough and Miss Crystal Kramer were united in marriage Monday by the pastor of the First Presbyterian church at Topeka and returned home yesterday. After the James Ross family move to Mississipi, Mr. and Mrs. McCollough will make their home on the Ross farm half mile west of Rossville. Mr. McCollough is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred McCollough and has lived here all his life. Mrs. McCollough is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kramer of Horton. The young people have the best wishes of a large circle of friends for a happy married life. |
| Anniversary- McCollough, Ross and Crystal Mr. and Mrs. Ross McCollough entertained Tuesday evening at their home in honor of their first wedding anniversary. The evening was spent in playing progressive pinochle.
