The children of Mr. and Mrs. C. N. McGinnis, Rossville, cordially invite friends and relatives to share in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of their parents. The couple was married March 21, 1954, in Ionia, Kansas.
Reception will be held on Sunday, March 18, 1979, at the Mainstreeter Club in Rossville, from 2-4 p.m.
Hosts for the reception are: Mr. and Mrs. Tom Schuetz and Jennifer, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hoffman, Jr., and Traci, Monte McGinnis.

Ardeth Rae McGinnis, 61, Rossville, died Tuesday morning, March 18, 1997, at the Rossville Valley Manor.
She was born November 9, 1935, in Ionia, the daughter of Glenn Ray and Ida Agnes Miles Wright.
She was married to Charles N. “Nolan” McGinnis on March 21, 1954, at Ionia. The couple moved to Rossville in 1967. Mr. McGinnis died February 11,1991.
Ardeth was graduated from Ionia High School in 1953. Mr. and Mrs. McGinnis had owned and operated McGinnis’ Mainstreeter Restaurant in Rossville. She was a member of the Auxiliary to Jimmie Lillard Post #31 of the American Legion at Rossville, and the Gage Center Women’s Bowling League of Topeka.
She is survived by three daughters, Danielle Schuetz, Rossville, Stephanie Conner, Johnson City, Tenn., and Leslie McGinnis, Shawnee; one son, Monte McGinnis, Oskaloosa; one sister, Merna Keeler, Mankato; one brother, Edgar E. Wright, Mankato; 10 grandchildren; and one great- grandson.
The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka.
Her service was at 10:00 Friday at the Rossville Christian Church;
interment was in the Rossville
Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shawnee County Fire District #3 or to the Rossville Community Library, both in Rossville 66533.

ROSSVILLE — Ardeth Rae McGinnis, 61, Rossville, died Tuesday, March 18, 1997, at a Rossville nursing home.
Mrs. McGinnis and her husband owned and operated McGinnis’ Mainstreeter Restaurant in Rossville.
She was born Nov. 9, 1935, in Ionia, the daughter of Glenn Ray and Ida Agnes Miles Wright. She was graduated from Ionia High School in 1953 and moved to Rossville in 1967.

Mrs. McGinnis will lie in state after 9 a.m. today at Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka, where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Shawnee County Fire District No. 3, Rossville, 66533, or to the Rossville Community Library, Rossville, 66533.
