    -----
In loving memory of our little son Buddy McGuire, who passed away March 10, 1936, at two years of age. Fourteen years ago this March 10, 1950. Given and Taken.; Job 1:21.

A short-term loan to us was given,
A draft upon the bank of Heaven.
A richer life was thus begun,
When God gave us this little son.
    Buddy blessed our lives awhile,
With boyish pranks and ready smile
But he was just a loan, and we --
Had to give him back, you see.
Seems too soon that loan came due,
So quick his visit with us was thru.
But Buddy was His who knoweth best
And in this confidence we rest.
Missed by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McGuire
