Father McNeive performing the ceremony. After the wedding mass the near relatives and friends of the bride and groom were given a wedding dinner and supper after which they spent the evening in dancing. The newly married couple were the recipients of many useful presents. Hose attending the wedding from Rossville were, Mrs. Mary Baker, George Baker and John Quirk; Fred Baker and wife and Joe McGuire of Valencia. The bride and groom have the best wishes of their many friends for a long and prosperous life. Alley and Georgie Hahn played for a wedding dance at Henry McGuire's at Belvue.

He was born March 20, 1922, at Rossville, the son of Henry and Monica Prockish McGuire. He lived all of his adult life in Belvue. Mr. McGuire was in maintenance at Goodyear; a truck driver for Wamego Sand Company out of St. Marys, and delivered the Topeka “Capital- Journal” in Belvue for several years. Survivors include a sister, Josephine Voelker, Topeka, and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Rossville Cemetery. Interment to follow. Mr. McGuire will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday (today) at Verschelden Funeral Chapel. The casket will remain closed. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

He was born March 20, 1922, in Rossville, the son of Henry and Monica Prockish McGuire. He lived in Belvue many years. Survivors include a sister, Josephine Voelker, Topeka. Graveside services will be at 10, a.m. Wednesday at Rossville Cemetery. Mr. McGuire will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys.
