Henry McGuire and Miss Monica Prockish were married Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. at St. Marys. The Rev. Father McNeive performing the ceremony. After the wedding mass the near relatives and friends of the bride and groom were given a wedding dinner and supper after which they spent the evening in dancing. The newly married couple were the recipients of many useful presents. Hose attending the wedding from Rossville were, Mrs. Mary Baker, George Baker and John Quirk; Fred Baker and wife and Joe McGuire of Valencia. The bride and groom have the best wishes of their many friends for a long and prosperous life.

Clarence “Mac” McGuire,
70, Belvue, died at his home.
He was born March 20, 1922,
at Rossville, the son of Henry and Monica Prockish McGuire. He lived all of his adult life in Belvue.
Mr. McGuire was in maintenance at Goodyear; a truck driver for Wamego Sand Company out of St. Marys, and delivered the Topeka “Capital- Journal” in Belvue for several years.
Survivors include a sister, Josephine Voelker, Topeka, and nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. at Rossville Cemetery. Interment to follow.
Mr. McGuire will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday (today) at Verschelden Funeral Chapel. The casket will remain closed.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

BELVUE — Clarence “Mac’’ McGuire, 70, Belvue, died of natural causes Sunday, May 10, 1992, at his home.
Mr. McGuire had worked in maintenance at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. at Topeka, was a truck driver for Wamego Sand Co., out of St. Marys and had delivered The Topeka Capital-Journal in Belvue several years.
He was born March 20, 1922, in Rossville, the son of Henry and Monica Prockish McGuire. He lived in Belvue many years.
Survivors include a sister, Josephine Voelker, Topeka.
Graveside services will be at 10, a.m. Wednesday at Rossville Cemetery. Mr. McGuire will lie in state from 2 until 9 p.m. today at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. The casket will remain closed. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
