| Marriage- Prockish, Monica-McGuire, Henry Prockish-McGuire
Henry McGuire and Miss Monica Prockish were married Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. at St. Marys. The Rev. Father McNeive performing the ceremony. After the wedding mass the near relatives and friends of the bride and groom were given a wedding dinner and supper after which they spent the evening in dancing. The newly married couple were the recipients of many useful presents. Hose attending the wedding from Rossville were, Mrs. Mary Baker, George Baker and John Quirk; Fred Baker and wife and Joe McGuire of Valencia. The bride and groom have the best wishes of their many friends for a long and prosperous life.

| Obituary- McGuire, Henry Henry E. McGuire
Henry E. McGuire, 62, died unexpectedly Saturday night at his home near Mayetta from a heart attack. He was born September 14, 1890, near Rossville and had resided in the Rossville and Mayetta communities most of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Monica McGuire of the home; a daughter, Mrs. P.T. Voelker, of Topeka; five brothers, Joe McGuire of Topeka, Charles McGuire of St. Marys, Robert and Louis McGuire of Belvue and Tom McGuire of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, mrs. Jim Cook of Belvue and Mrs. Sam of Topeka, and three grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Francis Xavier Church at Mayetta with burial in Rossville Cemetery. The rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Mercer Funeral Home at Holton.
