    J. w. MCKELVEY DEAD

    J. W. McKelvey, 75, died at his home in Silver Lake, Monday evening, after an illness of only a day or so. He had made his home in Silver Lake since 1870 and had been custodian of the Silver Lake cemetery for a number of years. His wife preceded him in death in 1904.

    He is survived by two sons, L. N. McKelvey, Santa Cruz, Calif., and D. A. McKelvey, St. Paul, Minn., two sisters, Mrs. Lincoln Kennedy, of Shawnee, Okla., Mrs. H. A. Kennedy, Santa Cruz, Calif., and one step-daughter, Mrs. Harvey James, of Rossville.

    Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the Silver Lake Methodist church, 'with Rev. Edwin Judd officiating.
