    Darrel Albright
    TOPEKA - Darrel Albright, 68, of Topeka, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
    He was born May 15, 1943 in Topeka, the son of Jerry and Vir¬ginia Hartman Albright. He graduated from Hoyt High School in 1961.
    Darrel was a farmer and a stockman, and an Iron Worker with Local No. 10. He had also taught welding at the Kaw Area Vo-Tech School.
    He married Ronda Petersen on August 12, 1993 in Miami, OK. She survives of the home.
    Darrel was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Albright.
    Other survivors include his mother, Virginia Albright, Mayetta; one son, Dusty Albright (Erin), Anthony, a daughter, Tammy Albright,
    Holton; two step-sons, Jeremy Cowhick (Heather), Auburn, and Cody Cowhick, Topeka; a step-daughter, Cassidy Perkins (Stephen), Topeka; three brothers, Corky Albright (Jeri), Delia, Bill Albright, Topeka, and Steve Albright (Debbie), Mayetta; two sisters, Debbie Simecka (Chuck), Topeka, and Mary Jo Wahweotten, Ottawa; and six grandchildren, Kelsey Beel, Dakota Spiker, Innslee Albright, Carsyn Perkins, Makenzie Cowhick, and Maddox Cowhick.
    Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10th, at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Burial will follow in the Netawaka Cemetery. Darrel will lie in state after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home where family and friends will meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
