| Obituary- McLain, Charles 1 Charles T. “Chip” McLain
Charles Ted “Chip” McLain, 35, Rossville, died Friday, July 2, 1999 at his home. A coroner was notified, and an autopsy was scheduled.
Chip was born October 23, 1963, in Topeka, the son of Charles A. and Georgia E. McCall McLain. He had lived in the Rossville community most of his life.
Mr. McLain was a heavy equipment operator and worked construction.
He was married to Susie Davis. They were later divorced.
Surviving him are a son, Benjamin Charles McLain, Topeka; two daughters, Sarah Elizabeth McLain and Hannah Louise McLain, both of Topeka; a stepson, Daniel Aaron Davis, Topeka; his mother and stepfather, Georgia E. and Ernest L. Stark, Rossville; his father and stepmother, Charles A. and Cheryl McLain, Topeka; three sisters, Joi L. Ridder, Silver Lake, Amber Colleen Huske, Rossville, and LauRay C. McLain, Topeka; and his grand¬parents, Theodore G. McCall, Sr., Juanita L. McCall, both of Topeka, and Josie Seaman, Granite City, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Dale McCall.
The family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Parker-Price Mortuary in Topeka. His service is at 1 p.m. Tuesday (this afternoon) at the mortuary. Burial will be in the Topeka Cemetery.

Mr. McLain operated heavy equipment, and he worked in construction.
He was born Oct. 23,1963, in Topeka, the son of Charles A. and Georgia E. McCall McLain. He lived most his life in Rossville.
He married Susie Davis. They were divorced.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be at Topeka Cemetery. Mr. McLain will lie in slate after 11 a.m. at the mortuary where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 7 p.m.
