    JOHN D. McNEIVE
    Services were at 10 a.m. Thursday at Little Sisters of the Poor in Kansas City, Mo., for John D. “Happy Jack” McNeive, 84, Kansas City, who died Monday, March 22, 1982, at a Kansas City hospital.

    Mr. McNeive was born August 28, 1897, at Emmett, the son of John and Margaret Grace McNeive. He lived at Emmett and Delia before he moved to Kansas City in 1960. He worked for United Pacific Railroad before he retired.

    He was married to the former Leona Wells. She survives. A son, Harold E. McNeive, died February 5, 1978.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Anne Bishop, Grandview, Mo.; a son, Donald D. McNeive, Phoenix, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

    Rosary was recited at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Little Sisters of the Poor. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery, Kansas City. McGilley Funeral Home, Kansas City, was in charge of arrangements.
