| Obituary- Medley, William WILLIAM J. MEDLEY
Services for William P. Medley, 26, of Santa Monica, Calif., son of Mrs. Ed Stein of 222 Harrison, Topeka, who was killed Saturday in a motor-car accident near Bakersfield, Calif., were held in Santa Monica, Wednesday.
Mr. Medley’s brother Harry Medley of Topeka and his uncle, Jesse Ray, of Denison, left Sunday to attend the services.
He was born near Silver Lake November 28, 1923, and went to Topeka with his parents in 1930. He enlisted in the Navy in December, 1940. and was discharged in November, 1946.
Other survivors include his wife, June Medley and two sons, Rodney Lee, 2, and Gary Marvin, 4, of the home; another brother, Robert H. Medley of Boise, Idaho; and three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Tuffly of Yuma, Arizona, and Mrs. June Cochran and Mrs. Wanita Mellazzo, of Phoenix, [missing rest]
