    CORA MERCER DIES
    Services for Miss Cora Mercer, 54, were held in Topeka at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Wall Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. She died unexpectedly Tuesday night at Wichita.

    She was born July 2, 1908 at Bazaar in Chase County and lived in Topeka at 1417 College un¬til the death of her father, the late Joseph H. Mercer, Live Stock Commissioner of the State of Kansas.

    Since 1937 she made her home alternately with her two sisters who survive her. Mrs. Elreen M. Riley of Wichita and Mrs. James
    L. Conley of Delia.

    She was a member of the Methodist Church of Rossville.

    Besides the two sister she is survived by nephew Joe M. Conley.

    Mr. and Mrs. Jim Conley were called to Wichita last Wednesday by the death of Mrs. Conley’s sister, Cora Mercer. They returned home Thursday morning.
