| Obituary- Miles, Minnie MRS. M. L. MILES DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., July 8.— Mrs. Minnie L. Miles, 80, of 1742 N. E. Tenth street, died today after a long illness. Mrs. Miles was a resident of this city for 10 years.
Minna Louisa England was born in Sweden, April 30, 1853. She came to America with her parents in 1863, settling northeast of Osborn, Mo., where she resided until her marriage to Sylvester Hugh Miles, July 4, 1876. In the year 1881 they moved to Rossville, Kansas, where they both took an active part in church and civic affairs.
Mr. Miles passed away Nov. 13, 1910. A few years later Mrs. Miles moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., making her home with her two daughters until her death July 8, 1933.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. O.A. Zickefoose and Mrs. C. E. Fritz, one granddaughter, Miss Evelyn Fritz of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., two brothers, Dr. J. D. England, Axtell, Neb., T. A. England Osborn, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Elma Hankins, Osborn, Mo.
Mrs. Miles joined the Lutheran church at the age of 12, later uniting with the Methodist church at Rossville, Kansas.
The funeral services were conducted at 4 p. m. Monday, July 10, at the Fairchild Funeral Home, Rev. James W. Marlin, pastor of Park Temple Methodist church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
