    HOWARD MILLAR JR.
    Howard Millar Jr., nine, Rossville, died Sunday morning, February 17, 1980, in the emergency room of St. Francis Hospital. Shawnee County Coroner Dr. Antonio Huaman said he died of respiratory infection.

    Howard was born October 4, 1970, in Topeka, to Howard E. Millar, Sr. and Stella R. Marley Millar. The family lived in Maple Hill for two years before moving to Rossville.

    In addition to his parents of the home, he is survived by two sisters, Veronica Millar of the home, and Barbara Hamm, Rossville; two half- brothers, Alen Millar and Don Millar; two half-sisters, Patty McNear and Janet Millar, Warren, Ohio; two grandmothers, Mae Kesling, Buckhannon, W. Va., and Bertha Waugh, Gaines, W. Va.

    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rossville Christian Church; interment will be in the Rossville Cemetery. Howard will lie in state at Verschelden Funeral Home from 2 p.m. Tuesday until noon Wednesday, and at the church from 1 p.m. Wednesday until service time.
