| Anniversary- Miller, Donald and Ivaleu 2 Miller Couple Celebrated 45th Wedding Anniversary
Don and Ivaleu Miller were pleasantly surprised when their seven children and their families came to their home near Delia on Sunday, June 9, to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary.
Those in attendance were: Beverly and Bill Tucker and Elise and Eric Cooksey, Kansas City, Ks.; Pat and Erin O'Rourke, Victor and Jolene Miller and Riley, Beth Victor, Ashlee and Audrey, all of Topeka; Nancy and Larry Boten, January, Natalie and Hillary, Madison, Wise.; Sandra and Stephan Eisenbarth, Lanea, Lance and Levi, Silver Lake; Rodney and Lisa Miller, Corey, Tyler and Morgan, Holton; Gary Miller, Delia. Afternoon callers were Eudora and Harold McQueen.
Donald Miller and Ivaleu Eakin were married June 5, 1946, in Holton.

Donald and Ivaleu Miller, Delia, will be guests of honor at a reception in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary Sunday, June 16, at 2:00 p.m. at the Garden House at Lake Shawnee.
Hosts will be their children and their families — Beverly and Bill Tucker, Kansas City; Gary Miller, Delia; Victor and Jolene Miller, Topeka; Nancy and Larry Boten, Madison, WI; Sandra and Stephen Eisenbarth, Silver Lake; Rodney and Lisa Miller, Holton; Beth Victor, Delia, and 17 grandchildren.
Don Miller and Ivaleu Eakin were married in Holton on June 5,1946. The couple requests no gifts.

| Obituary- Miller, Donald Miller
Donald W. Miller, 79, Delia, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at his rural Delia home.
He was born Feb. 21, 1926, at Delia, the son of Claude and Pauline Rezac Miller. He grew up in the Delia community and gradu¬ated from Delia High School in 1944.
Mr. Miller was a farmer and stockman. He worked as a custodian for USD 321 for several years. He lived in the Delia community all his life.
He was a member of Delia Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder. He was a member of Delia Masonic Lodge 419 and the Board of Directors for the Delia Fire Department. He was a past school board member of the High Prairie School District, served as chairman of the Rural Water District and had served as chairman of the Election Board.
He married Ivaleu Eakin. She survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Gary Miller, Beattie, Neb., Victor Miller and wife Jolene, Topeka, and Rodney Miller and wife Lisa, Holton; four daughters, Beverly Tucker and husband William, Kansas City, Nancy Boten and husband Larry, Kansas City, Mo., Sandra Eisenbarth and husband Stephen, Silver Lake, and Elizabeth Victor, Delia; a sister, Eileen Reedy, Topeka; a brother, Lloyd Miller and wife Teresa, Delia; a sister-in-law, Eudora McQueen and husband Harold, Delia; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, DeVere Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Delia Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Delia Cemetery. He will lie in state after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Donald W. Miller Memorial Fund, to be designated at a later date and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple, St. Marys, KS 66536.
