Miss Ethel Mann and Mr. Archie Landis were married in Topeka Wednesday of last week. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Landis of Silver Lake township. He is employed at the Santa Fe shops. Mrs. Landis's parents reside near Hoyt. She has been employed in the Crosby Bros. store in Topeka. They will continue to make their home in Topeka. |

| Obituary- Landis, Archie Services for Archie Landis Today
Services for Archie Landis, 64, will be at 2 p. m. today in the Silver Lake Methodist Church. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.
He died Tuesday morning in his farm home near Silver Lake which he had occupied for 39 years.
Landis was born April 14, 1889 in York, N.D.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ethel Landis, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Lois Schwanke, Scott City, and Mrs. Hermoine Lowe, Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Alice Riddle, Topeka; a brother, Raymond Landis, Topeka, a sister, Mrs. Grace Dolezilek, Topeka and four grandchildren.
Davidson-Eslinger-Duff Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
