    Lawrence O. Lane

    Riverside, Calif. -- Lawrence O. Lane, 52, Riverside, a former Topekan, died Thursday at his home of an apparent heart attack.

    He was born Dec. 9, 1920, in Delia, Kan., and lived most of his life in the Topeka area. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Topeka, and was employed by the federal government.

    He was married to the former Josephine Gillgannon April 2, 1945, in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Holland, Dothan, Ala., and Katherin Lane, of the home; a son, Timothy Lane, of the home, and two grandchildren.

    Services and burial will be Monday in Riverside.
