    Marlin Lloyd Larson

    KANKAKEE, ILL. -- Marlin Lloyd Larson, 60, Kankakee, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 16, 1990, at a Kankakee hospital.

    Mr. Larson worked for Santa Fe Railway in the water service department for 35 years before he retired. He served in the Army during the Korean War.

    He was born Jan. 26, 1930, at Vassar, Kan., the son of Arthur and Gladys Larson. Mr. Larson grew up in Quenemo, Kan., where he was graduated from Quenemo High School.

    Mr. Larson was preceded in death by a son, Marlin Ray Larson, in 1973.

    Survivors include his wife, Natica Larson, Kankakee; a son, Preston Larson, address unavailable; four daughters, Kimberly Alldred, April Jones, Angie Moore and Natalie Schnackenberg, addresses unavailable; three step children, Marilyn Davis, Larry Miller and Curtis Miller, addresses unavailable; a brother, Geral Larson, Rossville, Ks.; three sisters, Melba Larson, Ottawa, Ks., Novella King, Pomona, Ks., and a twin sister, Marjory Evans., Topeka, Js.; 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

    He was cremated.

    Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Federated Church at Quenemo. Kankakee services will also be Tuesday, at Hertz and Thoma Funeral Home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
