    JACOB BAUER
    Jacob Bauer, 70, resident of the Delia community for 46 years, died Tuesday at his home in Delia. He was born March 13, 1881, in Topeka and was a member of the Sacred Heart Church of Delia. He was a retired farmer.

    He is survived by his wife, Anna Bauer of the home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Helen McGurk, of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Agnes Fennel, Morrowville, Kan., and Mrs. Olga Slough, Neligh, Neb.; a brother Oliver Bauer, Topeka; and five sisters, Mrs. Catherne Stadler and Mrs. J. M. Gems, Chicago; Mrs. Marie Miller, Startup, Wash.; Mrs. Elizabeth Bates New York, and Mrs. Sophia Taylor, Delia.

    The funeral will be at 9 a. m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Church in Delia, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. The Rosary was recited at 8 p. m. Tuesday at the Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys
