    Edward C. Mullican
    Edward Carlton Mullican, 63, 409 Western, died Wednesday, May 29, at his home.

    Mr. Mullican was a tire builder for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., in Topeka 30 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

    He was born Dec. 29, 1921, at Cooper, Texas, the son of Carl and Fannie Garmony Mullican. He lived in Topeka many years.

    Mr. Mullican was a member of Local No. 307 of United Rubber Workers of America AFL-CIO.

    He was married to Glendola Tschantz Aug. 31, 1943, at Rossville. She died April 7, 1980.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Deneen Polter, Topeka; a grandson; and two stepgrandchildren.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Inc., 1522 W. 8th, 66606.
