    LEO CLEMENT MULVIHILL

    Leo Clement Mulvihill, 83, of the Williamstown Community of rural Perry, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Rossville Health Care Center, Rossville, KS. He was born January 2, 1930 at Williamstown the son of John Joseph Sr. and Lillian Veronica Kennedy Mulvihill. He was a 1947 graduate of Perry Rural High School and attended the University of Kansas. He was a farmer and stockman in the William¬stown Community until his retirement. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Perry and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus council #11240 in Perry. He served 20 years on the Jefferson Agriculture and Conservation Service and was a member of the Rural Township Board, serving as Township Clerk from 1970 to 1980. He was active with the Billtown Go-Getters 4-H Club for many years.

    He was married to Josepha “Jo” Lenherr on November 27, 1954 at St. Marys, KS., she survives at home. He is also survived by three daughters, JoAnn Mulvihill, Mesa, AZ., Jane Mulvihill-Jones (Joel), Kansas City, MO., Julie Mulvihill (Jeff Smith), Williamstown, one sister, Lillian Mosher, Topeka, and three granddaughters, Bridget, Kate and Tess Jones. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Cecilia Mulvihill, a son, Timothy Leo Mulvihill, one sister, Cecilia Mulvihill Lamott, two brothers, John Mulvihill, Jr., and Robert “Bobby” Mulvihill. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Perry. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Perry. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 PM, Friday with a Parish Rosary recitation at 6:30 PM at the Church.
