| Obituary- Murback, Jacob MURBACK
Jacob Elwood Murback, who was known by all as "Bill", was the oldest son of George and Edna Murback and was born October 27, 1901 at Bigelow.
He received his schooling in Marshall and Potawatomi district schools and attended Stricklers College in Topeka. He was married to Florence Stout June 1, 1925 and to this union was born on daughter, Maxine. Roy Ogden, a neighbor's son, also made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Murback from the age of eight until he was married and established his own home.
Bill Murback was a stockman and farmer and spent most of his life in the Delia and Mayetta areas.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Maxine Lundin of Delia; one brother, George Murback and one sister, May Morstorf, both of rural route Delia.
Funeral services were held at the Mercer Funeral Home on January 19 at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Dwight Seneker officiated. Music was furnished by Mrs. Dean Stous.
Pallbearers were: Milze Wilson, Willie Walter, Ray Lytle, Joe McClintock, Wayne Zweifel and Robert Sumner. Interment was in the Mayetta Cemetery. |
