    Raymond Arthur Murrow
    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Raymond Arthur Murrow, 85, Phoenix, Ariz., a former Topekan, died Friday at a Phoenix hospital.

    He was born March 4, 1894, at Delia, Kan., the son of John M. and Harriet DeBord Marrow, and spent most of his life in Topeka. He moved to Phoenix about four years ago.

    Mr. Murrow worked for Mosby-Mack Ford, Topeka, many years and later with a partner, Roy Morrison, operated Motor Inn and Garage, 125 Kansas Ave.

    He was a 50-year member of Siloam Lodge No. 225, AF&AM, and a member of University United Methodist Church, both in Topeka.

    He was married to Viola Mayer May 18, 1920. She died in 1925. He also was preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Mae Morrow, and Erma Jane Morrow.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William S. English, Tempe, Ariz., two sisters, Mrs. Ira Wood, Silver Lake, and Mrs. Rollo West, Anaheim, Calif.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

    Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
