MRS. FRANCES MURRY
Mrs. Frances E. Murry, 76, Delia, died at her home Tuesday night, August 9, 1977.
She was born September 17, 1901, in Delia, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Delia Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the church’s altar society.
She was married in 1918 to Walter Kerwin, who died in 1925. She was married July 24, 1925, to Harry M. Murry in Delia. He died October 16, 1974. Two sons preceded her in death - Leo Kerwin in 1960 and Raymond Kerwin in 1965.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard F. Kerwin, Harahan, La., and Robert Murry, Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta VandeVelde, Topeka, and Mrs. Mary Huffstutter, Vienna, Mo.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Verschelden Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Services were at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Sacred Heart Church in Delia. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Casket bearers were Michael Kerwin, Walter Kerwin, Clinton Kerwin, Kenneth Kerwin, Oliver Bauer, Jr., and Eugene Bauer.
