    Mrs. Rose Myers announces the marriage of her son Vernon F. Myers to Ella Lynch, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Pekarek of Topeka.

    The wedding took place at the Methodist parsonage in Highland Park, with the Rev. Earl Harbour officiating.

    Only members of the immediate family were present including his mother, Mrs. Rose Myers, his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cochran.

    After a short wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Myers will make their home in Rossville with his mother.

    Mrs. Ella E. Myers
    Mrs. Ella E. Myers, 80, Rossville, died Monday, Nov. 7, 1988, at a Topeka hospital.

    She was born Sept. 8, 1908, at Yankton, S.D., the daughter of Frank and Alouise Bukova Pekarek. She lived in Rossville since 1951 and formerly lived in Topeka.

    Mrs. Myers was a member of Golden Agers Club and Senior Citi-zens, both at Rossville.

    She was married to Paul Lynch in 1932. He died in 1943. She was mar¬ried to Vernon Myers in 1951. He died Sept. 25, 1983.

    Survivors include a son, Merrill Lynch, Topeka; a stepson, Jesse Lynch, Liberty, Mo.; two sisters, Alouise Davis and Rose Hutchings, both of Rossville; and a brother, Frank Pekarek, Mesa, Ariz.

    Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Christian Church in Rossville. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Mrs. Myers will lie in state after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys and an hour before service time Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Capper Foundation for Crippled Children, 3500 W. 10th, 66604.
