| Obituary- Lee, Dora Mrs. Dora Lee
Mrs. Dora Lee, aged 82 years, 10 months and 7 days, died Sunday evening, Aug. 6, 1950, in a Topeka hospital. Her home was with a daughter, Mrs. Elsa Holder, 919 Winfield, Topeka.
She was born Sept. 9, 1867, at Aurora, Ind., and came to Kansas when a small child with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. James Kinnett and settled near Westmoreland, where she grew to womanhood. At the age of 23 years she was united in marriage to Franklin W. Lee, Oct. 8, 1890. To this union eight children were born, three dying in infancy, and her husband preceded her in death. At the time of his death they were living on a farm near Havensville, Kan. Since 1927 she had been a resident of Topeka. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Capitola Rebekah Lodge No. 219.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elsa Holder, Topeka, and Mrs. Anna Lemon, Rossville; three sons, James R. Lee, of Fayetteville, Ark.; Arthur F. Lee, Topeka, and John W. Lee, Vermillion; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Wax, Topeka.
