| Obituary- Lemon, Alice G. Influenza Takes Alice Gwendolin Lemon, 8 Mos.
Alice Gwendolin Lemon, 8 months and 24 days old, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lemon, 720 Moro, died of influenza Sunday morning at a hospital in Manhattan, Ks. Besides her parents she is survived by a sister, Shirley 5, and her grandmother, Mrs. Simon of the home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lemon of Rossville, and one great-grandmother, Mrs. Alice Lemon of Rossville, and by other relatives. Services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday from the Burlieu-Cowan Funeral Home with the Rev. G.H. Grotey of the Baptist church officiating. Interment was in Sunset Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lemon and Dorothy, Miss Alice Lemon of Topeka, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. VandeVelde of Emmett, Mrs. Alice Lemon, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Carrell and Leroy, Mrs. Edna Wade and Clara May, Mrs. Flora Sanders were in Manhattan Tuesday for the funeral of Gwendolin Lemon.
