    Influenza Takes Alice Gwendolin Lemon, 8 Mos.

    Alice Gwendolin Lemon, 8 months and 24 days old, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lemon, 720 Moro, died of influenza Sunday morning at a hospital in Manhattan, Ks. Besides her parents she is survived by a sister, Shirley 5, and her grandmother, Mrs. Simon of the home; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Lemon of Rossville, and one great-grandmother, Mrs. Alice Lemon of Rossville, and by other relatives. Services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday from the Burlieu-Cowan Funeral Home with the Rev. G.H. Grotey of the Baptist church officiating. Interment was in Sunset Cemetery.
