    H.E. Lewis
    Mr. Henry E. (Hike) Lewis, 72, passed away this (Thursday) morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marvin Billings, of the Willard neighborhood.

    Mr. Lewis was born at Bala, Kans., May 27, 1879 and resided there 52 years before coming to Willard about 12 years ago.

    He was a member of Riley Masonic lodge.

    A short service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home and the body taken to Bala, where a service will be held at 2:30 in the Presbyterian church. Burial at Bala.

    Parkers Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

    Surviving Mr. Lewis are his wife, Elsie, Topeka; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Billings, Willard and Mrs. Frank Fay Jr., Junction City; three grandchildren, Calvin Billings, Rodney and Cathy Fay; three brothers, Wm. H., Topeka; R.G. of Henley, Mo.; and Jack Lewis, Willard; one sister, Mrs. Emily Jackson, Willard.
