    HERMAN C. LISTER
    Herman C. Lister, 60, Rossville, died late Thursday, April 14, 1983, at a Topeka hospital.

    He was born May 4, 1922, in Dover, the son of Lee and Ada Cheuvront Lister, and spent most of his life in the Dover and Rossville communities.

    Mr. Lister was a sheet metal worker in Topeka. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

    He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Seabrook Lodge No. 385, AF&AM, Sheet Metal Workers Union Local No. 77 and Loyal Order of the Moose, all at Topeka. He was a troop leader for Boy Scouts of America at Rossville.

    He was married to Lois Wulfkuhle February 26, 1955, in Topeka. She survives.

    Other survivors include three sons, Melvin Lister, St. Marys, Ronald Lister, Manhattan, and Gdlen Lister, Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Haller, Harveyville, Mrs. Edna Dudney, Dover, and Mrs. Velma Morand, Topeka; two brothers, Thearon Lister, Maple Hill, and Harvey Lister, Topeka; and a granddaughter.

    Services were at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Federated Church in Dover. The Rev. William Adair officiated. Organist Opal Lambotte provided the special music, “Ramona" and “Amazing Grace.” Burial was in Rossville Cemetery. Casket bearers were Donald Morehead, Melvin Coultis, Sidney P Vann, Marion Freel, Roy Kemble, Donald Koci, Jim Dodge and Jim Lassen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fish and Game Refuge and sent in care of Austin Funeral Home, Eskridge.
