    Robert Elmer Lloyd
    Robert Elmer Lloyd, 82, Donna, TX, formerly of Topeka, died Saturday, December 12, 1998, at his home.

    He was born June 29, 1916, at Willard, the son of Frank Q. and Fannie Douglas Lloyd.

    Mr. Lloyd attended high school at Marysville. He served in the United States Marine Corps for three years during World War II. He had worked for several body and fender shops in Topeka before he retired.

    He was married to Velma Marney Simmons August 17,1937, at Denver, CO. She died March 10, 1984.

    Survivors include a son, Kenneth D. Lloyd, Topeka; a step-daughter, Zelda “Sally” Whitmore, Topeka; a companion, Marie Hendrix, Donna, TX; and two grandsons.

    A graveside service and interment was Thursday in the Rossville Cemetery, under direction of Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka.
