Services were at 10:00 this morning, (Tuesday) at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys, for Mrs. Eunice P. Murphy Locknish, 65, Grand Junction, Colo., formerly of St. Marys. She died Friday, June 6, 1986, at a Grand Junction hospital.
She was born November 11, 1920, in St. Marys, the daughter of Otis and Lottie McGuire Murphy. She lived in Grand Junction the past several years.
Mrs. Locknish was a member of the United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
She was married to Howard M. Locknish April 4, 1943, at St. Marys. They lived in Iselin, N.J., until he died April 13, 1965. She later returned to St. Marys. An infant daughter died July 13, 1944.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Patti Martin, Collbran, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Edna Grieshaber and Mrs. Golda Caudill, both of St. Marys, and Mrs. Betty Knoebber, Shawnee Mission; two brothers, Lloyd G. Murphy, Hudson, Ia., and Charles O. “Jack” Murphy, St. Marys; and a granddaughter.
Burial was in the Rossville Cemetery. The family met with friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church in St. Marys.
