Frederick J. “Fritz” Lundin, Sr., 69, Delia, died Saturday, November 29, 1976, in a Topeka hospital where he had been a patient since October 27. He had cancer.
He was born March 6, 1907, at Mayetta and spent his life in the Mayetta and Delia communities. He was a member of Pottawatomie United Methodist Church at Mayetta.
He was married to Mary Kolbek March 18, 1933, at Delia. She survives. A son, Frederick J. Lundin, Jr., died May 8, 1970.
Other survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilson and Mrs. Christina Walder, both of Mayetta, Mrs. Anne Lytle and Mrs. Julia Fox, both of Holton, and Mrs. Lena Fleeman, Topeka; four brothers, Marlin Lundin, Viteal Lundin and Frank Lundin, all of Mayetta, and Erick Lundin, Delia; and two grandchildren.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys. Burial was in Delia Cemetery. Casket bearers were Ralph Lundin, Darrell Lundin, George Lundin, Jim Simecka and Bob Beougher, all of Delia; and Larry Lundin, Topeka.
