| Obituary- Lundin, Marlin 1 MARLIN LUNDIN
Marlin “Doc” Lundin, 72, Holton, died Monday, December 19, 1977, in a hospital where he was admitted December 14. He had been a patient in a Topeka hospital earlier.
He was born February 1, 1905, at Mayetta, the son of Hans and Maude Lundin, and spent most of his life in the Mayetta and Delia communities.
Mr. Lundin was a farmer and a mechanic and worked for Midwest Auto Supply in Topeka before he retired in 1970.
He was a member of Potawatomi United Methodist Church west of Mayetta and the Potawatomi Powwow Club.
He was married to Louise Nocktonick September 22, 1961, in Topeka. She
survives. A son, Dale Lundin, died in 1961.
Other survivors include three sons, Georgie Lundin and Ralph Lundin, both at Delia, and Darrell Lundin, Silver Lake; three brothers, Viteal Lundin and Frank Lundin, both at Mayetta, and Erick Lundin, Delia; five sisters, Mrs. Mary Wilson and Mrs. Christina Walder, both at Mayetta, Mrs. Anna Lytle and Mrs. Julia Fox, both at Holton, and Mrs. Lena Fleeman, Topeka; and seven grandchildren.
Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial was in Mayetta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Potawatomi United Methodist Church west of Mayetta.
