Garnet Wood and Lester Lutz were married July 10, 1935, in Lyndon. They lived in the Delia-Mayetta community until 1970, when they moved to Silver Lake. The couples request no gifts. Mr. Lutz was born April 4, 1913, at Holton, the son of John F. and Carrie Elizabeth Montgomery Lutz. Mr. Lutz had lived in the Delia area until 18 years ago, when he moved outside of Silver Lake. The Lutzes moved into Silver Lake one year ago. Mr. Lutz graduated from Denison High School in 1931. He was a member of Silver Lake Baptist Church. Mr. Lutz was a farmer and stockman. He was married to Garnet M. Wood in Lyndon, 52 years ago. She survives at home. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Joyce A. Simecka, Boulder City, Nev., and Carol E. Wallace, Topeka; two brothers, his twin, Chester Lutz, Holton, and Oscar Lutz, Mayetta; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the Parker- Price Mortuary with the Reverend Eric Deeter officiating. Interment was in the Delia Cemetery. The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to The American Lung Association, P.O.
