    William H. Lynde
    Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for William H. Lynde, 90, Topeka. He died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1988, at a Topeka hospital.

    Mr. Lynde was a carpenter and worked for a number of contractors before he retired. He served in the Army during World War I.

    He was born Nov. 25, 1897, at Ontario, the son of Armor and Minnie Hall Lynde. He lived in the Topeka area many years.

    Mr. Lynde was a member of Carpenter’s Union No. 1445, Orient Lodge No. 51, AF&AM, and Jayhawk Barracks Post No. 1113 of Veterans of World War I, all at Topeka.

    He married Elsie Rezac in 1922. She survives.

    Other survivors include a daughter, Phyllis J. Greenberg, Topeka; two sisters, Alice Akerstrom and Ernestine Nowlan, both of Topeka; a brother, Burton Lynde, Topeka; and a grandson.

    Orient Lodge No. 51, AF&AM, will conduct Masonic services at Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Orient Lodge No. 51, AF&AM, 2300 W. 30th, 66611.
