| Obituary- Lysek, Mary Mary Lysek
Latter Day Saint services were held Monday, January 24, in Gustine, Calif. for Mary Elizabeth Lysek, 81, who died January 19, 1983, at a Los Banos, Calif. hospital following an extended illness.
A native of Xenia, Ohio, she attended schools in Montana and Washington. During the early 1900s, her family homestead in Montana, arriving there by covered wagon.
She moved to Pasadena, Calif. in 1950, and also lived in Nipoma prior to moving to Gustine in 1980.
Survivors include her husband Frank, Gustine; two sons, Phillip Graham, Pioneer, and Lloyd Brandt, Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Frances O'Neil, Santa Nella; two sisters, Zara Hauptman, Escondido, and Katherine Lincoln, Santa Barbara; a brother Glen Gallagher, Washington; seven grandchildren; and nine-great grandchildren.
Cremation followed the chapel service.
The surviving husband, Frank Lysek, was born and raised in the Delia-Rossville communities before moving to the west coast where he and his deceased wife made their home. |
