Robert Bradley “Brad” Nider, 18, Rossville, died Saturday evening at his home of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to a Shawnee County sheriff’s official.
He was born June 30, 1964, in Topeka, the son of Larry Robert and Henreitta Lucille Delfs Nider.
He was a senior at Rossville High School and was a member of the football and baseball teams. He also was a member of Letterman’s Club and Future Business Leaders of America at the high school, and Rossville United Methodist Church.
Survivors besides his parents include two sisters, Kaye Lynn Nider, Topeka, and Lisa Annette Nider, Rossville; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Emma Delfs, Alma, and Mrs. Emma Nider, Blue Rapids.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rossville High School. Burial will be in Rossville Cemetery. Memorial, con¬tributions may be made to Rossville High School, Rossville, 66533. Parker-Price Mortuary, Topeka, is in charge of arrangements.
