    MR. AND MRS. WYATT
    A reception in the Lecompton City Hall Sunday, April 20 will honor Mr. and Mrs. John Wyatt, Lecompton, who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary April 22. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 2 to 4 pm.

    Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt have lived in Lecompton the past 20 years and Mr. Wyatt has worked in Topeka most of his married life. They have 12 children, 40 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

    The reception will be given by
    their children and their families. The children are: Howard Wyatt, Wichita, Glen Wyatt, Bellevue, Neb.; Duane Wyatt, Lawrence; Mrs. Dale Farrell, Mrs. Al Nocktonick, Mrs. William Ostrander, Mrs. Loren Green, Mrs. Dan Schloetzer, Marion Wyatt, Lloyd Wyatt, James Wyatt, and Robert Wyatt.

    Mr. and Mrs. John Wyatt, Lecompton, will observe their golden wedding anniversary with a reception at the Lecompton city hall Sunday April 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. The Wyatts are former residents of Jackson county. They have 12 children, 40 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

    The children include Mrs. Dale (Geneva) Farrell, Mrs. A1 (Marge) Nocktonick, Mrs. William (Lovien) Ostrander, Marion Wyatt, Lloyd Wyatt, Mrs. Loren (June) Green, James Wyatt, and Mrs. Don (Joyce) Schlodtzer, all of Topeka; R. G. Wyatt, address unknown, Howard Wyatt, Wichita; Glen Wyatt, Belvue, Nebraska; and Duane Wyatt, Lawrence.

    Margie Grace Nocktonick
    Margie Grace Nocktonick, 89, Topeka, passed away Friday, May 27, 2011. She was born at Delia, Kansas, on March 13, 1922, the daughter of John Robert Wyatt, and Flossie Mable (Graham) Wyatt. She was the second from the oldest of a family of 12. Margie graduated from Delia High School in 1940. She married Adam A1 Nocktonick on July 27,1941. He passed away on July 26, 1967, the day prior to their 25th anniversary.

    Mrs. Nocktonick was employed by Jostens in Topeka, retiring from the company after 25 years.

    Margie spent much of her time reading and crocheting, but mostly she centered her life on her children and grandchildren.

    Mrs. Nocktonick is survived by her children; Adam Nocktonick Jr. (Ruthie), Faye Womack (Rich), and Ronald Nocktonick (Denise). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren, 7 brothers; Howard, Marion, Lloyd, Duane, Glen, Bud, and Jimmy Wyatt, and 2 sisters; Loveign Ostrander, and Joyce Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her sisters June Green and Geneva Farrell.

    Funeral services will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel on Wednesday, June 1,2011, at 11:00 A.M., with burial to follow at Half-Day Cemetery, Elmont.

    Mrs. Nocktonick will lie in repose at the funeral home after 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2011. A family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening.

    The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Aldersgate Village Retirement Community, 7220 SW Asbury Drive, Topeka, KS 66614-6059.
