| Obituary- Nolan, Viola Viola N. ‘Dot’ Nolan
Viola N. “Dot” Nolan, 85, Topeka died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, at a Topeka nursing home.
She was born July 25, 1909, at Rossville, the daughter of Chris H. and Mary Jennie Marney Lillard.
Mrs. Nolan was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
She was married to Homer Nolan May 19, 1940, at Lyndon. He died June 19, 1976. A son, Duane B. Strimple, died Nov. 24, 1966.
Survivors include a nephew, Perry Nolan, Hutchinson; two nieces, Jo Ann Strouder and Marilyn Starr, both of Topeka; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Newcomer-Diffenderfer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Nolan will lie in state after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 901 S.W. Fillmore, Topeka, 66606.
