    A double wedding ceremony was solemnized October 6th at the Presbyterian Manse in Rossville when William Olejnik of Rossville and Christina Polson of Silver Lake; and Edward Olejnik and Grete [Greta] Mae Polson also of Silver Lake were united in marriage.

    Bill and Tina Olejnik of Rossville and Ed and Greta Olejnik of Holton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversaries with a family dinner.

    Both couples were married in a double wedding ceremony on Oct. 6, 1948, at the Presbyterian Church in Rossville with the Rev. B.A. Rundus officiating.

    Bill and Ed Olejnik are brothers and Tina Polson Olejnik and Greta Polson Olejnik are sisters.

    Bill and Tina Olejnik are the parents of Robert W. and Kathy Olejnik, Rossville; Lila Jean Olejnik, Topeka; and Lisa Kay and Jim Pinney, Johnstown, Neb, They have five grandchildren.

    Bill is a retired farmer and Tina is employed at the St. Marys Health Center in St. Marys.

    Ed and Greta Olejnik are the parents of Linda Mae and Larry Smatla, Oskaloosa, and Judy Kay Olejnik, Key West, Fla. They have two grandchildren.

    Ed retired as a mechanic from the John Deere dealership in Holton. Greta is employed in food service in Holton schools.

    Obituary- Olejnik, Tami
    Don Jones, Rossville Methodist Pastor, held graveside services for Tami Lynn Olejnik, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Olejnik, Rossville on Monday July 23, 1962, in Czech Moravian Cemetery near Rossville. Besides her parents, survivors include a brother Robert William Olejnik and one sister Lila Jean Olejnik of the home. The infant died at birth Friday July 20, 1962 in a Topeka hospital. Parker Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.

    Graveside services for Tami Lynn Olejnik, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Olejnik, Rossville, were Monday in Moravian Cemetery north of Rossville.

    The infant died at birth Friday in a Topeka hospital. Parker Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
