    Raymond J. Ketter
    Raymond J. Ketter, 81, Topeka, KS died March 9, 2015 at McCrite Plaza Health Center.

    He was born May 10,1933 in Delia, KS, the son of Ollie and Blanche (Perry) Ketter.

    Ray worked in various capacities for Ed Marling Home Furnishings for 27 years.

    He was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

    Ray married Betty Ann Eagan on October 7,1961 in Axtell, KS. She survives. Other survivors include his son, Michael Ketter of Topeka, a daughter, Judy Brown of Kansas City, KS, a brother, Howard Ketter of Topeka and a sister, Elizabeth O’Neill of Los Angeles, CA. Seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Leslie Ketter, a sister, Louise Millenbruch, and a daughter-in-law, Julie Ketter.

    Ray will lie in state after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A Parish Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M.

    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. Thursday at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

    The family suggests contributions be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
