Services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Friday in the Klasse Chapel of the First United Methodist Church for Francis Erwin Pardee, 1629 W. 37th Ter., who died Wednesday at a local hospital.
He was born in Wamego and moved to Topeka when he was 14. He was in the hardware and restaurant business before working as a supervisor with the warrant division of the State Treasury Dept.
He was a member of Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, the Scottish Rite, Topeka Moose Lodge, Sons of the American Revolution and the Rossville United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vilda Webb Pardee, whom he married June 17, 1942, and a son, Steven Pardee, 145 W. 37th Ter.
Burial will be in Wamego Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
