| Obituary- Patterson, Angie Mrs. Angie Bell Patterson
Angie Bell Patterson passed away at her home at Mayetta, Friday, June 30, at the age of 64 years and 10 months, after a long illness.
She was born at Tippecanoe, Ohio, August 20, 1879. In 1885 she moved to Holton, Kansas with her parents, and has been a resident of Jackson and Shawnee county since that time.
On February 24, 1897 she was united in marriage to Ed Patterson at the Rossville Presbyterian manse by the Rev. Carrouthers.
To this union was born four children.
Mrs. Patterson united with the Presbyterian church early in life. She has been a faithful and devoted mother to her children and all whom she came in contact with. She was a loyal and devoted neighbor.
She is survived by her husband, four children, Mrs. Gladys Blandin, of Denver; Abe Patterson of Dallas, Texas; Edward K. Patterson of Sunflower, Kansas and Floyd Patterson of Mayetta; nine grandsons, two sisters, Mrs. Hattie McCleery of Rossville and Alice Hull of Spokane, Wash.; and one brother, Robert Kirby of Rossville.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Wall-Diffenderfer funeral home in Topeka.
Pall bearers were Edward Patterson, Floyd Patterson, Abe Patterson, Jackie Lee Patterson, Walter McCleery and Gerald Kirby.
Burial was in Rossville cemetery.

Mrs. Ed Patterson of Mayetta, suffered a stroke Tuesday and has been dangerously ill. Her son Abe Patterson of Dallas, Texas arrived today called by her illness.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Hopkins, Mrs. Charley Berkey, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Reid and Robert Kirby were in Topeka Sunday to attend the funeral service of Mrs. Ed Patterson held at the Wall-Diffenderfer Funeral Home.
